Pet Safari carries a variety of small animals, including: assortments of hamsters, gerbils, guinea pigs, rabbits, mice and rats. We also offer exotic small animals like sugar gliders, hedgehogs, chinchillas, flying squirrels, ground squirrels, prairie dogs and ferrets. Pet Safari offers baby skunks in early summer by special order only. Baby skunks are domesticated, de-scented and ready to go home with a responsible loving family. Skunks require a skunk-educated family to live a healthy, happy life. Interested families need a Personal Pet Permit to purchase a skunk. These permits are free and take about two weeks to obtain. The required permit is called a "Class III, No-cost Personal Pet Permit" from Florida Fish and Wildlife Conversvation Commision.
